The West Elm Fulton Bar Cart has a very unique look to it. The antique bronze finish combined with the curved metal frame and double barred legs makes for an interesting design which could potentially both stand out (in a good way) or disappear into the background depending on the setting it’s in.

The cart is on the smaller side and is lower to the ground at 29.5″ height, and so is not going to work as a drink fixing station, meaning portability is key. On the plus side, it does have 4 casters, 2 of which are locking. Unfortunately, the light weight frame is unlikely to roll over carpeting or rugs easily assuming there are any heavier objects on the cart. Additionally, while it’s not as flimsy as the Terrace Bar Cart, it isn’t particularly sturdy and likely will need tightening over time to keep things from simply falling apart.

We think it’s a stylish piece which could be put to work in a hardwood or tile setting, a small space, or in any room where you plan on keeping it stationary. However, due to the lack of available room on the cart it doesn’t serve as functional of a purpose in a stationary setting, and at $399 we would have liked to have seen a bit sturdier construction.
