When we received these beautiful embroidered dot floral pillows from West Elm we were definitely excited as they matched a new sofa we had just received perfectly. The designs are great, a nice blend of modern geometric and classical floral patterns. The size (12″ x 21″) is perfect for a small sofa, a chair, or to add to your pile of bed pillows.
Unfortunately, we found that within just a couple of weeks the pillows started to look kind of worn, fraying all over the circular pattern area. In order to keep them in “make your mom proud” shape they need some maintenance, and while a fabric shaver mostly does the trick, we’re concerned that in a short period of time this pillow cover will go right to the garbage.
Also, who really wants a pillow with maintenance?
